Often, the client’s family aren’t sure where to start, or whether their elderly family member needs to go into care yet or not. And sometimes clients find us after they’ve already placed their loved one into an aged care facility only to find that it’s not the right fit.
In these tricky situations, we review the current situation and provide our well-researched opinion as to whether the home they are in is the right fit or not. In an instance the home is not the right fit, we can assist with finding the right aged care facility and facilitating a move. Situations like this also arise when the client’s family needs to move further away, not that there is anything necessarily wrong with the original facility, but they would like to move their loved one to be closer to their new home.
Our team reviews individual situations and assists by strategizing for the future to keep the client at home for longer, and what to plan for in the future for permanent care.
